Blue is eating 500g of Beef Complete raw in the evening and has a few treats on walks but that is it. He refuses to eat his breakfast (raw or kibble) and so I'm giving him a chicken wing and a few other bits to keep him from getting too hungry. The vet the other day says he is fine and isn't...
Thank you
He's started "humping" Bev now and sniffs other women that come to the house. We took him to the vet yesterday but they gave me the same advice really, just push through it and things will get better.
Well, he just ate a few sprouts and a carrot and then ate half a kilo of raw lamb (Just Natural) and seems to be happy enough again.
Strange he was off his food and now he has eaten again.
No he only has the 600g x2 of raw. We have a load of kibble left over so I put 600g of kibble in his bowl as he hasn't eaten all day today
I hope that helps
OK I never thought of that. He will eat cheese no problem and treats but not his raw meat. I've just put a bowl of kibble out for him but he's not interested in that either
We reduced his feeding to just twice a day. Around 600g of raw per serving.
I'm not sure if we are over feeding him but I'll keep an eye on what he has during the day
Thank you !
Hi,
Blue is off his food. He hasn't really eaten much all weekend and today he hasn't eaten at all except a couple of bits of cheese and a pigs ear. He normally demolishes his food in no time at all but in the past few days he sniffs at it and walks away. We have changed it around as much as...
Blue is just under 8 months old now and for the past few months he has been brilliant with us. However, in the last week or so it's as if he has suddenly reverted to his bad puppy behaviour again. He is jumping up and biting Bev, weeing on the kitchen floor (where he used to) and pulling on the...
Blue is nearly 8 months old now and weighing in at 7st 4lb. Slowly he is turning into a gentle giant, but he still has his moments.
Here he is in the garden, enjoying a bit of spring sunshine
A quick update.
Blue seems to have calmed down again now and there is no more biting and jumping around which is great. I did try the Gentle Leader but it ended up a bit of a disaster because once its on the part that attaches to the lead dangles under Blues chin, which he finds a great game...
Hi TinyTom
That's the plan for now, we will walk him together on an evening and then Bev will walk him on her own with me "crouching through the bushes" in case Blue starts jumping again. I've ordered a "Gentle Leader" from Amazon so hopefully it will arrive today and I can see what it's like...
