What do you do with your little bundle when you go away? Do you leave them in kennels or with loved ones?

We’re away this week and have left Bea with our family but intrigued to hear people’s thoughts on kennels our of interest.

P.s. here’s a pic of her on her ‘holiday’

Haha, nice pic, looks chilled right out! Only ever having had a dog for just over a year, so far he's come with us to a couple of dog-friendly establishments. I can't see us going away and leaving him behind - we have family close by, but none are dog owners (or ever have been) so that'd probably rule them out, and I think kennels might be a bit stressy for him beign a seven year old rescue dog and all.

I have never (and will never) put Dennis into Kennels if we can't take him away with us. Luckily we have a good family unit around us that are more than happy to have him. We also have a great dog walker who we trust and who Dennis loves!

We have a number of kennel alternatives around here who offer to look after dogs in their homes - a bit more expensive than kennels but that is what I would do if the situation came up
