    Flobo, That's how I came away feeling. I enjoyed the day but came away feeling it had all become very much about the money and looks. But then I am a right sucker for a rescue, so guess I'll always be that way!

    Thanks JoanneF. Yes we are on a long line with harness. I will try hard now to be more engaging and try an alternative to the ball. My last dog was a nervous, pretty damaged Staffy bless his soul, who hated dogs running up to him and was quite reactive when scared, so I really don't want Teddy...

    I went off Crufts after a visit a couple of years ago where I met a French bull dog breeder. Whole thing did not sit right with me at all. I enjoyed the police displays and service dogs demos though, and fly ball! so I watch a bit. I agree with your point on Frenchies.

I hear you!! our pup is now 5 months old and finally...its starting to stop, It's tough but just keep redirecting pup to the appropriate chew toys. its so tough at times and their teeth are so sharp at that age. I remember walking around the house in wellies one day! Its does pass...

    Hi . My adorable bundle of exhausting fun has to go to the vets to be castrated when he is 6 months old. I have to get him done as he is a rescue and of course, all reputable rescues stipulate this. He is only small, a cocker x pom so I've read early neutering at 6 months is ok. Just getting...
