Hi
My Doberman was breed via AI on Saturday (day 13 of her heat cycle)
After doing cytology on the Thursday and the lady telling me she was ready.

we did AI as she weren’t standing for the stud.

the stud is a friend dog, they were together again on Monday (day 15 of her heat) and she was standing for him and after numerous try’s he finally got inside and she yelped and moved and he fell off within seconds, then his private’s “expanded” and we missed out try.

she’s now day 17 and I’m just wondering if it’s even worth booking in another AI tonight just to cover all bases or should I just leave it in gods hands and hope the AI done on Saturday has taken?

she’s at the watery blood stage so very diluted.

My stud dog covered a bitch (natural mating) on the 19th day of her season. She whelped a litter of 7, all healthy and all on the due date. Quite a few people have had the experience of an "accidental" litter conceived when the bitch was a week past the 21 days start of showing colour. It's your decision but it would IMO be worth while.

yeah for some reason I just have a feeling to do it so I think we will and then just pray for the best.
