I have always wanted to organize some sort of a dog show in our small town. So my cousin and I decided to actually do it this summer.
But we have really no experience or idea how to do it
. Dogs and horses will be admitted. The biggest obstacle so far is the venue. We were thinking about these mobile halls and big tents that a german company called Roeder provides - http://www.r-zs.com/en/. But this might be "slightly" out of our budget .
As for my other questions:
How a dog show works - it is basically a process of elimination, right?
All dogs will need to provide a health certification? Judges - profis or volunteers?
I know this is very loose, but plans are just now coming together in a semi-organized fashion.
Advice ? Tips ? Suggestions ?
