Had august at vet this afternoon and he has prescribed Apoquel as he thinks seasonal allergies and piriton not strong enough. He said to get them online so now I have to find an online dispenser - anyone have any suggestions as don’t want to have to go through all of the ones on google 😀
I don’t have a greyhound but really wanted (still do 😀) an Italian greyhound and did a bit of research about their needs. I would recommend checking with greyhound specific websites and chat groups as I know they do need different collars and perhaps also harnesses to more robust dogs 😀 I am so...
Are you able to get someone to share a dog with you? 10 hours shifts are really too long to leave any breed on their own in my opinion- and you don’t say what your commute time is. So even having a dog walker come in for an hour a day would be very long periods for them to be alone and could...

I am sorry that you had to make this decision and the breeder was not helpful with resolving the issue with you as it was obvious that you did your research and tried to get them to meet you at least half way. I am sure you will find another perfect addition to your family x
Golden Retrievers Are good first dog for new ‘owners’ - the do need a lot of time and can’t be left alone for long periods. They also need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. If you have those to offer a golden retriever would be great.

My daughter and I have a big difference of opinion about spaying August - the discussion has resurfaced as august has just started her second season. I know taking her for walks needs us to be constantly vigilant and I am happy to take over all of this as I am quite positive I don’t want august...
Thanks for your responses 😀 hopefully I can get this resolved soon as vet nurse said no obvious injury to paws and that she must be licking more often and to keep and eye on it
