Hiya just wondering if any of you lot r from carlisle or near to in cumbria? We are literally over run by rabbits at the min and wondered if any one would be working there dogs round ere before the mixi comes

Pity its still the breeding season,and the burrow's are full of young,as id love to get at them with the ferret's n dog's.But at this time of year,it's a no no for me.Would love to get at them in September though,with a couple of mate's,and would'nt mind the travelin either,even if it is from N.Ireland.Would be well worth it for the sport.Is permission a problem in september?.And would the offer still stand then. ...Billy...

no probs with permission i shouldn't think. I will have a word with the few of the farmers round ere n c wat crack is.

p.s would u mind me coming along? i aint allowed a working lurcher til i have a house of my own but am very interested in em!
