We were pleased to see Maureen & Jim Dale with Cherry Blossom & there pup from Biba & Terraquin ,who had a short trial & chaced first time .We are pleased that Maureen & Jim have become members again & we will be seeing more of them .
We also had Rons pup from the same litter having a short trial together with Tash & her puppy.
Janice trialed her pup and that shows great promise. We also had a visitor from the East Angian Whippet Club who trialed her dogs ,heard dogs barking & stopped to have a look.
Gillian and her husband made the journey from Norfolk to see the racing , and we look forward to seeing them again.
Just a small profile on Billy, who 's racing name is Billy Budd.
In his first year he trialed & was cleared to race,& in his first meeting had his first win, and in the showing world he had qualified for Crufts, but unfortunately he was then struck down with Auto Immune Meningitus & Polly Arthriitis, with his weight ballooning to 40lb due to drugs and it was touch & go for a very long time .
But with lots of TLC he has now regained good health & has been solo trialing for the pased few weeks
This week he trialed with Misty Boy having 3 wins which put a great smile on Anes face.
Other good news is that Billy has again quailfied for Crufts, so hears to a good future GOOD LUCK BILLY.
Our next meeting is The Black Velvet Open on 6th June look forward to seeing you all
