Thanks everyone and thanks June, it has healed very well, so well infact that we put a plaster over it and gave him a trial on sunday & he certainly didnt seem to notice anything. You can just feel the edge of the new nail coming through now, so fingers crossed that it grows back fine as I know that they often dont :thumbsup:
