Hi, Can anyone help, own 2 whippets and 1 jack russell. The jack russell is the top dog in house. Also when walking my whippets are on a brace lead together and share it,with one being more powerful than the other. The smaller whippet of the 2 is keen to race but doesn't like the pressure of other dogs on her shoulder and backs off behind and to the side.Is this a lack of confidence from at home with other dogs or fear of getting bumped. She has never really got more than a second but looks fitter this year than ever.Is the habit of losing too sunk in? Any Advice :(

why not try seperate leads for the whippets and not a brace? The one with less confidence can then seperate itself from the more dominant one, and gain her own confidence which will (hopefully) spill over to when she races and she wont be so scared of dogs at her shoulder. Ideally they could be walked seperate ( but I know this aint easy)
